Waihi School Foundation

A Foundation has been created to:

  • Hold a strong capital base, with investment returns available for development of the school.
  • Fundraise for capital projects at Waihi.
    Realise the vision for 2007.
  • Benefit future generations of children in the school.

Waihi School has a culture of philanthropy that has existed since Joseph Orford founded the school in 1907.  All of the buildings and facilities are the result of support by the school community.

Your support will make a difference.

Benefits to you:

  • You are making a good investment in an extraordinary school.
  • You are providing opportunities for others - making the world a better place.
  • Income tax savings – gifts are tax deductible.
  • Gifts are a memorial of yourself or your family.
  • Good education is a worthwhile cause for your philanthropy - creating success.
  • You are fostering a culture of excellence at Waihi School and in the community.

The Foundation Patron is Sir Tim Wallis. Trustees are Mark Acland (Chair), Philip Burdon, Denis Hazlett, Jeff Pearse and Jeremy Gould.
