Waihi School Foundation Voluntary Building Levy
$225 per term
This building levy is invaluable to Waihi to ensure that we can continue to maintain our heritage buildings and infrastructure, and to provide further development of new facilities.

Extras

Extras are charges for activities that are not covered by tuition or boarding fees. These are invoiced monthly and are subject to the same payment rules as fees.
Extras cover items and activities such as sports costs, school camps, uniform, stationery, and other extra-curricular activities which relate directly to your child’s activities at Waihi.

Payment of Accounts

Fees are to be paid in advance and are invoiced and emailed to families at the beginning of each school term.
Fees and extras are payable on receipt of the tax invoice and are to be paid no later than the 20th of that month.
Payment of fees and extras by direct debit is compulsory unless the Headmaster or Accountant has approved alternative payments.
Payments will continue to be processed on the 20th of the month regardless of whether this falls on a weekend or public holiday.
You have the option of paying the full year fees in advance. If you would like to pay the full year tuition and/or boarding fees in advance, please email accountant@waihi.school.nz.

Overdue Accounts
The School is not able to provide credit and the Waihi School Trust Board policy regarding overdue accounts is as follows:
Fees and extras are considered to be overdue if the account is not paid by the due date shown on the invoice.
Fees and extras that are not paid by the due date can incur interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date the payment is due until the fees/extras are paid.
If a direct debit payment is dishonoured, an administration fee of $50 (GST inclusive) will apply.
